My name
is Tang Peng, eighteen years old and born in “Mountain City” ---- Chongqing.
I am
a PRC scholar from Sichuan University and studying in NIE (National Institute and Education)
in Singapore.
My habits
are reading novels and comics, watching movies and playing certain computer games.
After
this bridging course in NIE, I will start studying engineering in NTU (Nanyang
Technical University).

What I learn from NIE
After
enjoying four English courses (ALS, OCS, ARC, AWS), my four English skills are all improved quickly. Through these courses, I
learn how to listen to a conversation or a lecture efficiently, how to conduct a survey to collect information, how to read
a passage rapidly and clearly, and how to write all kinds of essay wonderfully.
Through DLS course, I learn how to write essays with correct APA format by using
Microsoft Word and Excel program. I also learn how to give a presentation with Microsoft Powerpoint, how to use search engines
to get information and how to establish my own webpage.
